Annemarie McKayManager, NVQ III Playwork
“I work at Cranberry Whizz Kids every day before and after school in term time and two days per week in the school holidays.
From Swiss parentage, I was born and brought up in South Africa giving me an in-depth understanding of cultural diversity. I came to the UK in 2006 and have lived in Alsager ever since. I began working at Whizz Kids in 2006 as a Playworker and have since achieved many qualifications relevant to working with children. Whilst at Whizz Kids I have worked at all of the four settings and have got to know and enjoy working with all the children and families. I have been the Manager at Cranberry Whizz Kids since May 2015 I think that what I feel most proud about is the children and how they have developed, knowing that I have helped in some small way.”

“I work at Cranberry Whizz Kids every day before and after school in term time and three days per week in the school holidays.
I have worked at Whizz Kids since 2009, in this time I have achieved a NVQ Level II and Level III in Playwork. I also work at Cranberry Academy in a voluntary capacity as well as working as a mid day assistant at lunch times.
I enjoy getting to know the children and their families who attend Whizz Kids and feel proud that parents can go to work with the knowledge that their children are safe and having fun.”
“I work at Cranberry Whizz Kids very morning in term time and 2 days per week in the school holidays.
I was born and bought up in Ireland and moved to London to work in Banking and Broadcasting. When I moved to Alsager I was blessed to have a big family and I also have five lovely grandchildren.
I began working at Whizz Kids in 2014 after working for many years at St Gabriel’s and Pikemere Schools as a mid day assistant. I enjoy meeting and welcoming children and their families into a happy and homely environment on a daily basis. I take great pleasure in both playing with the children and watching them interact with each other. It’s just fun!”
